Podograph – Plantoconturograph

A diagnostic device used for examining the patient’s feet by capturing an ink-based reflection of the plantar surface. This allows for accurate assessment of foot support and shape, aiding in diagnosis and custom orthotic design.

How It Works:

• The device consists of a flat, elongated two-piece box, designed for impregnation with ink, which is evenly distributed by a roller on the bottom surface.
• The footprint reflection is obtained by pressing the patient’s foot onto the paper using a static or dynamic method.
• When combined with a podoscope, it provides a cost-effective alternative to computerised foot analysis.
